Cemetery – 10kW
This set of small offices at a local council owned cemetery was part of a wider multi-site project undertaken by Quark in 2016. We were engaged to facilitate the supply and installation of PV Solar systems across multiple regional council facilities.
Our services began with individual Feasibility Studies for each site, with a breakdown for each to assess suitability of the installation of PV both individually and as part of the larger project. This Council has engaged Quark on an ongoing basis since 2013. Once the feasibility study had been completed we were then engaged to Project Manage the entire process of having the systems supplied, installed and commissioned—from release of supply tenders through to final handover of the systems to Council staff. As part of the process, each site’s specific needs and requirements were addressed – for example on this site we were sensitive to the need to ensure that the 40 panel PV system did not detract in any way from the look and feel of the existing architecture.
The project was delivered at 86% of allocated the budget whilst also achieving a 4% increase in the installed capacity. Under our Project Management model, the client realises these savings directly.
